Hello, I am Melissa
the Founder of Purposely Designed.
I am a traditional artist, art educator and surface designer. I have never meet an art medium that I do not like! My interest vary and include digital art, paper making, watercolor painting, oil painting, and working with clay. I also love to sew and crochet.
I do not call any one place home but I was born and raised in East Tennessee. I have spent the last 10 years traveling and living all over with the majority of my time spent in many different parts of Florida. Wherever I am, I can guarantee the ocean is close by. I am currently staying in Oahu, Hawaii.
The ocean is my happy place and you can see this in my design collections as they lean toward coastal and nautical design.
I have an extensive collection of work that is available for licensing. Purposely Designed is one company with four different divisions.
